Q: I forgot my password.  How can I retrieve it?

A: Click on the "Log In" link at the top right of the page.  Between the buttons for "Create Account" and "Log In" you will find the link "Forgot Your Password?"  Click on this.  You will be prompted to enter the email you originally registered with.  Click "Submit" and you will receive an email with directions on who to reset your password.


Q: How can I view the status of my order?

A: You will need to log in before you can view order status.  Once you are logged in, click on the "Order Status" link on the top right.

 
Q: My log in information isn't working.

A: If this is your first attempt to login on our site sinceMid-December 2012, you will need to fill out the registration form (it's quick and easy) to create your new registration and password.  Please provide your existing account number if you know it.  If you have registered on the site before and are having trouble, please contact customer service at 1-800-438-6013 for assistance.


Q: Why can't I see my special pricing on-line?

A: If you receive a discount with American Safety, and do not see that discount reflected on the website, it means that your web registration has not been connected to your American Safety account.  Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-438-6013 or the webmaster at webmaster@americansafety.com  to have your web registration and your account connected.  You will need to know the email you registered with and be able to identity your American Safety account by account number or company name and billing address.

If you have already connected your web registration with your American Safety account, please make sure you are signed into your account.  You will only see your special pricing when signed in and any orders placed without being signed into your account will be charged list price.

 

 Q: I want to pay with a PO.  What do I need to do?

A: If you already have an account set up, all you need to do is provide your account number and the PO information.  If you are a new customer, or do not have a balanced account with American Safety, you will need to fill out a credit application.

 

 Q. Where can I fill out a credit application?

If you wish to fill out a credit application click on the link and download the application. Fill it out, then print and sign it. Either email, mail or fax application to Payables@AmericanSafety.com.

Q: I have a large order that needs to be quoted.  Where can I send it?

A: If you simply need a quote, you can email a list of the items needed to chenson@americansafety.com and someone in our customer service department will send you a quote.

If you need something bid (prices firm for longer than thirty days) please send the request to our bid specialist at teverhart@americansafety.com.

 

Q: Where can I get an American Safety catalog?

A: Our catalog is available for view online.  Click on Resources in the navigation tab, under "Media" is a link for "Catalogs" that will take you to a page where you can view our recent specials as well as our master catalog.  If you would like a print copy, please contact customer service at 1-800-438-6013 or include a note on your order requesting that a catalog be sent with your items.

 

Q: I recieved part of my order, when can I expect the rest?

A: We are working hard to eliminate situations that create back orders on your web order, however, this may still occur, especially on items with a high turn over.  We cannot garauntee how quickly you will recieve your back order.  Many of our vendors and suppliers can ship us items within a week, but if items are out of stock it may tak 2-4 weeks or longer for you to recieve them.  We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  If you have a back order, and need to know when to expect it, please call customer service at 1-800-438-6013 to enquire.  If the wait is too long and you wish to cancel all or part of your remaining order, please call to notify us as soon as the decision is made to ensure that you are not charged for these items when they are ready to ship.

 

Q: I need my items as quickly as possible, how can I ensure I will get them right away?

A: We are unable to expedite orders placed on the web at this time.  If your order is time sensitive and you need your items right away, please call Customer Service at 1-800-438-6013 and place your order by phone to ensure that we have your items and that they ship as quickly as you need them.
