Payment & Order Processing

You may pay for your order with one of the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card using either PayPal Express Checkout or our merchant gateway.

The estimated delivery date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time, and manufacturing processing time and does not include transit time. Order processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need and full payment for the order. Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will begin processing the next business day.

Prices are subject to change at any time prior to American Safety's acceptance of your order. Prices that appear on the site are American Safety's MSRP prices unless otherwise indicated. Certain manufacturers have a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy that requires a web visitor to add the product to their cart to view its price. Placing an item in your cart does not hold you liabile to purchase, unless you choose to. 

 


Sales Tax


American Safety collects and remits sales taxes as required by law on purchases made via our Online Store. We collect sales tax in the following states: NC, SC, GA, FL, VA, TN, TX, KS. Taxes are calculated in real-time at the point of checkout and in the "quick quote" feature when viewing your shopping cart.

 


Purchase Orders

American Safety accepts PO numbers as payment during the checkout process online.

Here's what you need to know:

  • First, contact your institution's purchasing department to have an authorized PO number generated for your order.
  • Once you have a PO number, login to your American Safety account, add your products to the cart, place your order, and enter the PO number as payment. Under "billing address," enter the address of the person or department responsible for paying invoices at your institution. Generally, this will be your Accounts Payable department.
  • After your order ships, American Safety will send an invoice to that billing address referencing your institution's PO number. This invoice can be paid by credit card, check, or bank transfer (non-US customers only). Payments terms are net 30 days from the invoice date.
