Shipping & Handling

Shipping Guidelines:

The majority of the products that American Safety ships to you, our esteemed customers, are shipped via UPS Ground, which is our preferred vendor. UPS can deliver packages that weigh less than 140 lbs. and adhere to specific size restrictions. Correctly deciding whether to deliver to a business or a residence is crucial. If the buyer makes the wrong choice, there will be additional fees.

Please verify your order confirmation email as soon as you place your order to ensure that your "ship to" address is accurate. If you think your address is wrong, please get in touch with American Safety right away. If the address needs to be changed after the shipment has been dispatched, you will be charged a reroute fee.  You will receive an email with a copy of your receipt and an order confirmation. Please get in touch with us right away if, after two hours, you have not received a receipt for your order. (Please note that some email receipts can be in your "junk email" folder because they were designated as spam.)

Under no circumstances will American Safety's shipping charges be reimbursed or credited. Unless otherwise specified and confirmed in writing by American Safety, all shipping costs associated with a return are the responsibility of the client.

Damage Goods:

If your things are delivered damaged, it's crucial that you deny the delivery and let the driver know that the package is flawed. When products are delivered, it is the customer's duty to inspect them. Open and completely inspect your order as soon as you receive it to look for any production flaws, transportation damage, or other issues. To be eligible for a damaged product credit, please contact our Customer Service department within three business days of receiving the item if you discover that your product is inaccurate, damaged, or defective. All packaging materials and merchandise must be returned in their original condition. Please refuse the package if it somehow manages to arrive completely broken and call us right away.

Shipping Promotions:

The sale of large, heavy, or bulky products is prohibited for all items on this website. This restriction applies to any shipping offers that are free or reduced. Despite our best efforts to provide accurate information at all times, it is possible that we will find that the product cannot be shipped via standard ground transportation owing to size or weight restrictions, in which case Freight Delivery may be required. Thus, Free Shipping won't be possible. Some items might also need to be shipped by freight because of packaging or damage issues.

Truck Deliveries and Large/Bulky Items:

Numerous tools and accessories of an industrial and commercial caliber are available from American Safety. Some of these goods are substantial, weighty, or bulky (items such as Hotsticks, Ladders, Generators, etc). These items might not be able to be shipped using standard ground services like UPS and will need to be delivered by truck or by freight. All free freight offers are only valid for items that can be delivered via UPS Ground; they do not apply to freight or LTL shipping.

Truck Line - Commercial/Business Addresses:

Please decide whether you require a liftgate when shipping to a business. You will be responsible for unloading your order from the truck if liftgate service is not available. You might want to select the no liftgate option if your facility has a forklift or loading dock. You are liable for any additional costs if a liftgate is needed during delivery but was not chosen when placing the purchase. You will be liable for any additional fees the freight carrier levies if the delivery location turns out to be a residential address.

Truck Line - Residential Addresses:

Deliveries to residential locations are subject to an extra charge from truck carriers. This is partly because it is necessary to load supplies onto smaller trucks with better maneuverability through residential areas. Although there may be plenty of space to maneuver in your particular driveway, the nearby roadways might call for this additional handling. Delivery is made off the liftgate of the truck or at the bottom of your driveway. The product must then be moved from that location by the customer. If the item cannot be unloaded from the truck, Toolup.com is not liable for delivery. This freight cannot be refunded by American Safety, and the customer is responsible for paying all fees associated with a second delivery attempt.
